The Aksharverse, defined
It begins with a word.

Akshar means both the letter, the smallest unit from which language is built, and the imperishable, that which cannot be destroyed. The Bhagavad Gita names the distinction: द्वाविमौ पुरुषौ लोके क्षरश्चाक्षर एव च. Aksharverse takes Indic cosmological and philosophical architecture as the operating system of a literary universe, from speculative fiction and civilisational history to spiritual biography, horror and intimate human drama. Its genre is My-Sci-Fi: Mythological Science Fiction.
