Indian civilisation is the oldest continuous civilisation on earth. It produced the most sophisticated cosmology, the most precise linguistics, the most comprehensive philosophy of consciousness, and the most layered mythology in human history.
And yet the literary imagination of this civilisation — in the contemporary form of speculative fiction, of constructed universes — has gone largely unbuilt. Kundan Sharma and Vijaya Sharma are building it together: not by adapting Western forms to Indian content, but from the inside of the tradition outward.
